Katie went through 6 rounds of Chemo, stem-cell transplant, 12 days of radiation folllowed by 6 months of accutane. She was given a slim 20-30 % chance of survival. This year will be the 5th year that Katie has been in remission. We are thrilled with this news. However, very saddened to see there are too many kids still losing the battle. We need to find a cure.
